In 2017 Celebrity Cruises will offer summer sailings in the Caribbean for the first time in five years. Celebrity Equinox will be based from Miami (Florida) and offer a series of seven, eight, 10 and 11 night cruises to the Eastern, Western and Southern Caribbean. Plus, the new season also includes a special 11-night Signature Sailing featuring an overnight stay in New Orleans for the city’s famous Jazz Festival.

The summer Caribbean cruises will be packed with new on-board programmes to showcase a flavour of the destinations. The complimentary Taste of the Caribbean culinary events include food and mixology demos from on-board chefs and mixologists, wine tasting, rum and reggae parties on the outdoor Lawn Club deck, and brunch and bubbles options.

Additional exclusive events available for a fee include a five-course tasting menu with Celebrity Cruises’ chefs, and fresh pasta and mozzarella making classes. Plus, guests enjoying the best of summer in the Caribbean can also indulge in Chef’s Market Discoveries shore excursions to uncover the foodie heart of the island destinations. Chef’s Market Discoveries are led by an on-board chef and introduce guests to farmers and food producers, markets and local food and drink specialities. The gourmet experience culminates with an exclusive dinner prepared using ingredients sourced from the day’s food haul.
