The latest addition to the CMV fleet arriving in June 2017. Columbus will expand CMV’s fleet of five traditional cruise ships, joining Magellan, Marco Polo, Astoria and Astor and will become CMV’s new flagship. Columbus will sail from London Tilbury alongside Magellan and Astoria, boosting departures from the south east.
The introduction of Columbus to the CMV fleet in 2017 will mean the cruise line is able to offer more cruises from more ex-UK departures than ever before. The 2017 cruise brochure boasts new sailings from Wales, departing from Newport and Cardiff, additional sailings from Newcastle, Dundee, Liverpool and Bristol, plus sailings from Belfast and Dublin. The highlight of 2017 must be Magellan’s 120 night Grand Round the World Cruise for the ultimate travel experience of a lifetime, with a choice of ten shorter sectors available.
New Itineraries for 2017 include cruises to cultural Spain, France, Portugal and Gibraltar. The maiden Columbus season includes a Grand 46 night voyage to Cuba, Central America and the Caribbean, the highlights include an overnight stay in pulsating Havana, the chance to visit Chichen Itza, the Mayan ruins in Mexico, Costa Rica, Belize and Cartagena (Columbia) along with gorgeous Caribbean islands Jamaica, Antigua and Barbados sailing from London Tilbury on 29 October 2017 with fares from just £2,719pp.
The cruise line’s newest ship will also deliver experiences for its youngest guests for the first time.
