Hurtigruten’s UK website has undergone a radical makeover, showcasing a fresher, more contemporary style, that will be rolled out to other Hurtigruten sites globally.
The new web page mirrors and expands the unique real life experience of a Hurtigruten voyage. There is a lot more content about the places the company visits, the activities on offer and the unique Hurtigruten voyage. Whether you want to learn more about the king crab from the Barents Sea or Kjeungskjaer – one of Norway’s most distinctive lighthouses, it brings the whole experience to life.
The site has been designed to be more intuitive for customers, with relevant information more clearly presented and easily identifiable links. For the first time, a new maps section shows in real time the location of each ship, as well as highlighting key ports and attractions.
The booking process has also been streamlined to make it quicker and more user-friendly for customers, who are only presented with options that are relevant to their voyage.
Also new is a ”My Page” section, where passengers can keep track of past and future bookings, along with all the related travel information.
